Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one session without having to swap out devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot should be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its relatively affordable price and is among the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you up and running with a clean, full dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that is able to clean up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you can ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only issue it has is that it can smash into walls and other objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing, where it's going, and which obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that displays when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and washing the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time as well, with the mop being capable of operating for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easily understood, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum and mop clean, when looking at a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot vacuum and mop. This year's model has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This enhances the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could miss.
As with the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by adding a dual camera which can recognize objects and determine whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It then can automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive model I've tried, but it also has the most features. Its sleek, angular style is attractive and it only has three physical buttons: the power button, that also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required) but it's a challenge to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to enable voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.

It also lets the robot to get under furniture with a low profile which makes it a great choice for small apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots. This is a nice feature that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by excessive back-and-forth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or reverse the process. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is easy to use and intuitive, and the X40 is equipped with many clever features that are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, look at floor plans and mapping, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features, making it a great choice for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin, and clean the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive models available however, it comes with many additional features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There are a lot of options, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app lets you make these settings or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options for customizing the cleaning process, and there are a lot of functions that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and elegant. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing, but it's still not excessively heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping system is also well designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
